Wedding Photography

Can I view examples of your work?
Click here to see some sample images from my Wedding Portfolio. In addition, I would be happy to visit you with my sample albums for viewing in the comfort of your own home.

Do you travel?
I am available to photograph Weddings throughout the UK but additional travel expenses will be incurred if the venue is more than 30 miles from Leeds. Quotes for travel and, if necessary, accommodation costs are available on request.

How long do you stay on the day?
I can be with you for most of the day: from the bride's preparations, through to a 'set-up' photo of the cutting of the cake and then for the first half hour of the wedding dinner (to capture individual 'table shots' of guests and some candid reportage photographs) . If you wish for me to stay longer, this can be arranged at an additional charge.

Do you take formal group shots?
Many clients prefer the ‘low key’ approach to wedding photography, whereby guests can enjoy the day for what it is and not worry about formal group shots.

However, some couples do require some traditional group shots to be taken and I am happy to accommodate their requests. In order to keep the disruption of the day to a minimum I recommend keeping the group shots to no more than 10.

Do you photograph civil ceremonies?
I am happy to shoot weddings of all sizes, faiths and of course Civil Partnerships as well.

What cameras do you use?
I use a Professional Digital Canon SLR camera, which is very responsive and produces exceptionally high image quality. In addition, the camera is near silent, perfect for the quietest of moments during the ceremony. The lenses I use enable me to shoot from a variety of positions offering you original and dynamic images.

I also use my trusty old film camera to supplement the colour digital images with black and white shots.

How many photographs do you take?
I take as many photographs as I feel are necessary to give you a good selection to choose from and to capture the full essence of your day. Often this will be several hundred images. The price of you pay is not affected by the number of wedding photos taken. Typically, clients are offered between 200-250 photos to choose from, but rather than concentrate on a particular number I aim to provide full coverage of the day. I also feel that a few excellent shots convey far more than thousands of mediocre ones.

How long does it take to see the photographs after the wedding?
Your images will be available to view on-line approximately two weeks after the day. A password will be required to access the site.

How will we select the pictures for our album?
As well as the online album, you will receive a CD (PC compatible only) with all of your images.

You will be also given a complimentary DVD slideshow set to music, featuring a selection of images. This makes for an excellent keepsake.

What digital manipulation do you perform?
I believe that images should have the minimum amount of retouching done to them so that they remain as true a record as possible. However, every image is quality checked for colour and tone and soecific images can be ‘tidied up' if necessary. This service is complimentary.

How else can we enjoy our photos?
I offer a number of options for reprints, enlargements and framing. I can also arrange canvases, thank you cards for your guests and parent albums.

How do I secure a booking?
If you decide to book Zagni Photography for your wedding, a non-refundable deposit of £100 secures the date. 50% of the total cost is payable no less than 14 days prior to the wedding. The remaining 50% is to be paid on receipt of your images/album.

Do you offer easy payment facilities?
Yes, you may wish to spread the cost of your Wedding Photography over a number of months prior to your Wedding. Please Contact Me for details.

Can we keep our negatives / files?
I keep the negatives / high resolution digital files to ensure that the quality of any prints subsequently produced is up to my standards.
